Weekend plane crash sends couple to the hospital

LEMHI COUNTY - A plane crash in Lemhi County over the weekend sent a husband and wife from Idaho Falls to the hospital.
Authorities say the small two-seater, single engine plane took off from the May Airport heading toward the Idaho Falls Airport. Somehow the plane hit a powerline, and nose-dived into the ground. Les and JoAnne Stone were both taken to a local hospital. Les is now listed in fair condition, JoAnne is in good condition. The FAA is investigating the crash. |
