U of I student from Wilder dies from alcohol poisoning

MOSCOW - A southwestern Idaho student at the University of Idaho has died of alcohol poisoning, officials say.

Dispatchers received a call at about 8 a.m Saturday morning for an unresponsive and unconscious male at an apartment in Moscow

Authorities attempted CPR on Daniel Miller, 23, who was transported to a Moscow area hospital. Miller, who's from Wilder, was pronounced dead at 9:45 a.m.

Police executed two search warrants on Saturday - one at the location of the incident and one at Miller's residence. Authorities will investigate and determine if there was any negligence on the part of people who were with him. At this time no charges have been filed.
