Nyssa death ruled accidental
By KBCI Web Staff
NYSSA, Ore., - Authorities in Malheur County Oregon say the man who died in Nyssa in late September likely died of hypothermia.
Police had been investigating the death of Robert Estrada, 68. The investigation was closed after the Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office issued an autopsy report that stated the cause of death was accidental and the manner of death was likely hypothermia. Forensic testing on Estrada's body revealed that he had a high blood alcohol level at the time of death, officials say. The high blood alcohol level likely contributed to the injuries he sustained and his death from hypothermia. |
