Previously fifth-ranked Boise State was voted up one spot in the Harris Interactive poll to fourth place November first. Boise State also received one first-place vote.
Information about which voter (Harris Interactive polls 114 former coaches, players, administrators and current and former media) voted BSU number-one was not readily availble. The Broncos supplanted USC, which fell from fourth after a 47-20 loss to Oregon this weekend. The Ducks rose from eleventh to eighth place. The Coaches poll was not as kind - TCU jumped BSU in the rankings, into fourth from sixth place. The Broncos did not move in the coaches rankings, but are only six votes behind Texas Christian. Each of these polls is one-third of the BCS rankings, released each Sunday afternoon. November 1st Polls Harris Interactive: 1. Florida (83) 2,803 2. texas (19) 2,714 3. Alabama (9) 2,672 4.
