BOISE - The Boise State women's soccer team won its way into the WAC tournament championship game with a 1-0 win over Utah State on Friday.

Freshman Erica Parks scored the desisive goal in the 58th minute, with an assist from fellow freshman Maureen Fitzgerald.

The goal came on one of just 14 shots for Boise State - winners of a physical, defensive match. The teams combined for 33 total fouls.

The victory has a bit of revenge to it as well; Utah State beat Boise State in last year's WAC semi-final 1-0.

BSU faces Nevada for the WAC Championship (and automatic NCAA Tournament berth) Sunday at 1 pm at the Boas Complex.
