Defending state 2A champions Parma knocked off Nampa Christian for the second time this year, and advanced to the state semi-finals.

Parma cruised to a 33-0 lead late in the third quarter, and maintained the shut-out through several Trojan advances.

Nampa Christian played most of the contest without its starting quarterback, who left with injury.

New Plymouth ran up 33 unanswered points on the road at Kamiah, winning 33-16.

The Pilgrims will host Declo Friday at 7 p.m. in one state semi-final game.

Glenns Ferry downed North Fremont 36-20 to advance. The Pilots will host Parma in Holt Arena on Friday. Glenns Ferry earns home field advantage because IHSAA rules prohibit teams from playing back-to-back playoff games on the road, said Panthers coach Greg Asbury.

Holding the game in Holt Arena, over two and-a-half hours from Glenns Ferry, was the Pilots decision, according to Asbury.
