Blackfoot High broke a 14-14 tie with two minutes left in the game to sneak out of Nick Ysursa field with a 27-14 win over Bishop Kelly Friday night.

The Knights were eliminated from the state tournament, and they have plenty of company.

Middleton was shut out up at Sandpoint, 30-0, and Nampa was unable to hold off Twin Falls, losing 28-21.

Hillcrest beat Pocatello in the other quarterfinal game - which means the semifinals break down like this:

Blackfoot at Twin Falls & Hillcrest at Sandpoint.
